THE ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh , Transfer to hotel
Arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by driver with a signboard, then transferred to the hotel to check in & leisure (Check-in time is 14:00 PM). The rest of the time, you will be free to relax at a hotel or explore Ho Chi Minh City by your own means. Overnight in Ho Chi Min
Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnel – Ho Chi Minh City Tour
Have breakfast at the hotel. 08:00 AM: Tour guide picks you up at the hotel and heads to Cu Chi Tunnels. Arriving tunnels, a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed will be given. We then spend time exploring the maze of tunnels including innumerable trap doors, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Afternoon: City tour by visiting The Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, The Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, Jade Emperor Pagoda. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh, Mekong Delta Tour
Have breakfast at the hotel.
08:00 AM: Tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and start a full day to My Tho (Mekong Delta). It is also known as Vietnam’s ‘rice basket’– a fertile area spreading nearly 50,000 sq km. Here the mighty Mekong River ends by splitting itself into nine major tributaries.
The Vietnamese name these nine tributaries “Nine Dragons.”
Here’s our schedule that is designed to help you experience local daily activities along the Mekong. Enjoy the scenic journey along the way, bordered by green rice fields.
On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages along the river bank.
Boat ride a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea and enjoy “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.
Explore the village and fruit plantation, sample the delectable coconut candy, and visit a family-run business that perfectly captures the tranquil rural way of life.
Drive back to Ho Chi Minh. Check in hotel & leisure.
Day 4: Morning flight to Da Nang and Hoi An Tour
Have breakfast at the hotel. Then you have free time this morning before checking out of the hotel.
The driver picks you up at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh for your flight to Da Nang.
Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a tour guide with a signboard, then transfer to hotel in Da Nang, check in hotel & leisure.
After a short leisure, you will be transfer to Hoi An to visit a family chapel built by prominent merchant or official families as the centre ancestor worship a Chinese style Pagoda or Assembly Hall.
Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda which is the first bridge on this site and was constructed in 1593 by the Japanese community of Hoi An to link the Town with the Chinese Quarter across the stream, besides looking at Fukien Association temple, Ceramic Museum and Chua Ong Temple.
Then, transfer back to Da Nang .
Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 5: Fly to Siem Reap and Visit Wat Preah Prom Rath
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a free leisure time until the driver picks you up and transfers you to the Tan Son Nhat Airport for your Siem Reap flight.
Upon arrival at [TBC] in Siem Reap International airport, you will have a welcome meeting with our tour guide at the exit gate, after baggage claim and customs clearance (about 1h’).
Then, transfer to the the hotel (1h) and check-in. * The check-in in the room is guaranteed starting from 2.00 pm. Early check-in is not included – Upon request with surcharges.
During the afternoon visit Wat Preah Prom Rath, the Buddhist monastery in the heart of Siem Reap. It features a Khmer-style pagoda, a courtyard with Buddhist statues, and a hall adorned with hand-painted murals, including a giant seated Buddha and a reclining Buddha. The site has historical roots dating back to the 16th century, linked to the story of a monk named Preah Ang Chong Han Hoy, who celebrated a miraculous journey home by carving the reclining Buddha. We then head back to the hotel in Siem Reap.
The rest of the day is free at your leisure.(guide, transportation, tickets not included)
Day 6: Angkor Wat Complex – Banteay Srei
Meet your guide at the hotel reception at 8:30 AM, after breakfast.
Begin the day by visiting Angkor Archaeological Park, starting with Prasat Kravan, renowned for its intricate brick sculptures of Vishnu.
Next, explore Pre Rup, a 10th-century “temple mountain” dedicated to Shiva, known for its stunning, pyramid-like structure. Continue to Banteay Srei, 35 km from Siem Reap, often called the “Citadel of Women” for its beautifully detailed pink sandstone carvings.
On the way, stop at a local house to learn how natural palm sugar is made.
After lunch at a local restaurant (not included), visit Ta Som, a serene Buddhist temple, followed by Neak Pean, an ancient hospital designed around a mythical lake said to cure illness. Concluded with Preah Khan, a vast temple built by Jayavarman VII, known for its historical significance.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is free for leisure.
Day 7: Sunrise Angkor Wat Complex – Angkor Thom
Meet your guide at 4:45 AM in the hotel lobby and transfer to Angkor Wat for a sunrise experience. Enter through the West Gate, crossing the bridge over the moat to witness the temple’s majestic silhouette. Capture stunning sunrise photos, with perfect spots along the central walkway near the libraries and water basin. After sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast or enjoy a picnic breakfast prepared by the hotel.
Following breakfast, explore Angkor Wat in detail, marveling at its vast size, intricate carvings, and impressive bas-reliefs illustrating ancient Indian epics.
Next, visit Ta Prohm, known for its fusion of temple ruins and sprawling tree roots, offering a mystical atmosphere.
Continue to Ta Nei, a hidden gem often overlooked by tourists. In the afternoon, explore Angkor Thom, home to Bayon Temple with its iconic 216 stone faces.
Visit the Elephants and Leper King Terraces before concluding at Preah Khan, a sprawling complex.
End the day with a sunset stop at Angkor Thom’s South Gate, before returning to the hotel.
Day 8: Kompong Kleang Floating Village and Departure
Meeting with the guide at 08.30 am at the reception of the Hotel.
After breakfast an extraordinary visit awaits us to one of the most untouched and non-touristy floating villages in Cambodia, giving us a taste of the local fishermen’s lifestyle on Lake Tonle Sap.
Driving on the road National 6 we make a detour to experience the surreal atmosphere of Kompong Kleang village: a long dirt path lined with houses built over stilts up to 10 meters high to survive the flooding of the rainy season. Uncover the daily life of the villagers.
The locals here make their living fishing, as it once was. We then sail along the canal into Tonle Sap Lake on a private and traditional wooden boat. Further on we reach the floating village: a large community that has lived and worked on the water for centuries.
In the village there are schools, shops, workshops and floating restaurants besides houses.
