Day 1: Welcome to Luanda

Step off your flight into the vibrant capital, Luanda, where our journey begins. We’ll start with a city tour, soaking in the sights and sounds of Angola’s bustling heart.
Stroll along the seafront, discover the colonial architecture, and visit key landmarks.
As the sun sets, we’ll head to Ilha de Luanda, a scenic peninsula with stunning ocean views, for a delightful welcome dinner.
Sip on a refreshing drink, savor local flavors, and mingle with fellow travelers as the waves gently crash against the shore.
We’ll end the night at a charming hotel on the Ilha, where you can rest and recharge for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Nature’s Marvel – Kalandula Falls & Pedras Negras

Get ready for an early start as we head out to explore one of Angola’s most breathtaking natural wonders, Kalandula Falls.
Cascading down over 100 meters, these falls are a hidden gem, often called the ‘Niagara Falls of Africa.’ You’ll be awestruck by the power and beauty of this stunning sight, surrounded by lush greenery.
Afterward, we’ll venture to the intriguing Pedras Negras, or ‘Black Rocks,’ a mysterious geological formation that towers over the landscape.
Explore these colossal rock formations that tell tales of Angola’s rich geological past. We will then make our way back to Luanda for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Exploring the Heartland – Malanje to the Kwanza River
Breakfast & Departure
After breakfast, we will retrace our steps back to Luanda and continue to the Kwanza River Lodge, nestled by the famous river that lends its name to Angola’s currency. This day is all about serenity and connecting with nature. The Kwanza River Lodge offers the perfect setting to unwind, with beautiful views, lush greenery, and the calming sound of flowing water. After checking in, enjoy a buffet dinner and relax under the stars, preparing for tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 4: Safari & River Adventure
180 km Adventure
A true adventure awaits! We start with a leisurely breakfast before setting off on a two-hour river trip, where you’ll have the chance to see local wildlife and get a taste of the vibrant ecosystem that thrives along the riverbanks. After lunch, brace yourself for an exhilarating 3-4 hour safari. From the back of a park truck, spot elephants, antelopes, birds, and other wildlife as we explore the rich biodiversity of the region. This is a day to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Angola, capturing memories you’ll cherish forever. In the late afternoon, we will return to Luanda.

Morning City Tour & Airport Transfer

Shop for souvenirs, enjoy a final taste of local cuisine, and take those last-minute photos before we transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
